description Macedonia Brook State Park's exciting terrain has resulted from the slow wearing down of its hard rock formation base. The Blue Trail crosses Cobble Mountain and several other peaks, offering outstanding views of New York State's Catskills and Taconic Mountains. Numerous springs and streams in the park allow hikers to rinse off and fishermen and swimmers to enjoy their time in thepark, too.
drivingDirection Follow Route 341 west from the intersection of Route 341 and Route 7 in the center of Kent. Turn right onto Macedonia Brook Road. Stay left at the intersection of Macedonia Brook and Fuller Mountain Roads. Look for park signs.
facilitiesDescription Macedonia Brook State Park offers 51 wooded, meadow or brook-side campsites in a rustic setting. The camping season begins in mid-April and ends September 30. Additional park facilities include picnic shelters, drinking water, gravel parking, outhouses, and pay telephones.

orientationDescription Macedonia Brook State Park consists of 2,300 acres and is located in Kent, CT. The park became the property of the State in 1918 through a gift from the White Memorial Foundation in Litchfield, CT. Many years later, the National Park Service established a Conservation Corps Camp at the park, and much site improvement work was accomplished.
